Linden Court Coop
When our clients made an offer on their future home at Linden Court, the oldest cooperative building in Jackson Heights, they had to bring their imaginations. The estate condition coop apartment had sat vacant for several years, and hadn’t been updated in at least 40 years. We gutted the kitchen and partially opened it up into the dining room, did a top to bottom renovation of the bathroom (and managed to salvage and refinish the original cast iron bathtub), refinished all the original hardwood floors, applied new plaster and paint finishes, and updated plumbing and electrical systems throughout this heritage residence. With a modern update to a classic style apartment, this young family of four has a clean slate to make this home their own.
