Alexis is a New York City-based Certified Interior Designer with nearly fifteen years of experience in workplace, retail, and residential design. At the heart of Alexis’ practice is the belief that everyone benefits from good design. There are some basic tenets that make for good design, and Kalo Design Studio exists to make sure that good design is accessible and affordable for all. From simple schematic design consulting, to full service interior renovations, Kalo Design Studio will tailor every project to each client's unique needs.

Alexis earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a Master of Science in Interior Design from the Pratt Institute. Alexis is nationally recognized as an NCIDQ Certificate Holder, a LEED Green Associate, and is a Certified Interior Designer within the State of New York. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family & friends, exploring the city’s cultural, art, and food scenes, and volunteering within her Queens community.
